  • Contech Storm Water Solutions Now Available in Canada

    May 3, 2006

Armtec Infrastructure Income Fund announced sales and distribution agreement with Contech Stormwater Solutions, a U.S. supplier of storm water quality systems.

Under the terms of the agreement, Armtec will become a national distributor for Contech Stormwater Solutions products in Canada, effective immediately.

Armtec will offer its Canadian customers the entire Contech Stormwater Solutions product line, which encompasses a full range of storm water quality management products including filtration, hydrodynamic separation, screening systems and oil/water separation.

"In keeping with Armtec's growth strategy, this partnership leverages the strengths of our coast-to-coast sales force to introduce new products into the Canadian market. With minimal capital outlay, it broadens our product offering to existing customers and gives us the opportunity to add new customers," said Charles Phillips, president and CEO of Armtec Limited Partnership. "The management of storm water and runoff has become a very significant part of drainage design in the United States, and we see the market growing in Canada. This agreement puts us in an excellent position to capitalize on that demand."

Customers for storm water management systems include the owners of any installation that collects and discharges storm water, including municipalities, private developers, industrial and commercial sites and manufacturing facilities.

"We look forward to joining forces with Armtec, a clear market leader. We expect their strong distribution network and close customer relationships to significantly increase our sales in Canada," said Rick Stepien, CEO of Contech Stormwater Solutions.
