Lisa Brandon, P.E., has been appointed vice president and director of design operations at MACTEC. Allen Kibler, president of MACTEC Engineering and Consulting Inc., made the announcement. Brandon is based in the firm’s Wakefield, Mass., office.
“Lisa brings to MACTEC more than 20 years of engineering and management experience, and this expertise will be invaluable to us as we continue to integrate all offices on design projects, with a specific focus on expanding our design-build capabilities,” said Kibler.
Prior to joining MACTEC, Brandon spent the past seven years in a number of management positions with a large environmental/infrastructure engineering firm. As vice president of engineering, she was responsible for a 950-plus staff, an operating budget of $12 million and annual revenues exceeding $185 million. Brandon also managed more than $60 million of federal client programs. Key infrastructure wins she helped spearhead included South Florida Water Management Engineering Services, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Inner Harbor Navigational Chanel and the U.S. Department of Energy Yucca Mountain project.
Brandon also served 18 years with a Boston engineering firm. As chief engineer of the Environmental Sciences and Engineering Div., she supervised 130 employees in five offices nationwide.
