EPA Publishes 2013 Highlights of Progress Report
This report provides a roadmap to guide future programmatic planning
In 2012, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released the "National Water Program 2012 Strategy." This document describes long-term goals for the management of sustainable water resources in light of climate change and provides a roadmap to guide future programmatic planning. The 2013 "Highlights of Progress Report" is organized around the six vision areas described in the 2012 Strategy: water infrastructure, watersheds and wetlands, coastal and ocean waters, water quality, working with tribes and cross-cutting program support. It provides a summary of the major climate change-related accomplishments of EPA's national and regional water programs in 2013. This is the fifth climate change progress report for the EPA National Water Program.
