Green Roof Technology Provider Expands Sales Operations to Central and Eastern U.S.

Green roof eco-technology provider Columbia Green Technologies (CGT) recently announced the expansion of its sales operation to the central and eastern regions of the U.S., as well as the laucnch of a new company website.

In 2010 the green roof industry grew by 28.5% and indicators suggest it will continue to increase. This growth is accelerated by the fact that many U.S. cities are now actively addressing the challenges of storm water management due to the deterioration of existing storm water infrastructure and the resultant combined sewer overflows (CSO).

"As part of our ongoing national growth strategy we are pleased to announce significant additions to our organization with the establishment of our new sales headquarters in Boston, which will further support our efforts in the eastern and central territories," said Greg Love, chief operating officer of Columbia Green.

In the new Boston office, Kelly Ferguson has been appointed as sales director. Together with Columbia Green's major partners Firestone, Kemper, Derbigum and Malarkey, Ferguson will be driving sales with their independent sales groups. She is a graduate of Oregon State University and has previous experience in the wireless industry.
