Storm Water Advisor Receives BMP Certification from NCSU

Michael Walker, P.E., of the EI Group Inc. recently obtained certification through North Carolina State University (NCSU) as a Stormwater BMP (Best Management Practices) Inspection and Maintenance Professional. The NCSU program is recognized as a standard for qualifying storm water BMP professionals.

Walker has been providing storm water compliance services to clients since the rules were first promulgated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in 1990. Throughout his career Walker has written storm water pollution prevention plans (SWPPP), conducted site training and inspections, and spoken at numerous environmental conferences.
