New Vacuworx hires and office location will help the company expand its global presence
Vacuworx Global LLC, the manufacturer of vacuum lifting systems for the pipeline, road construction, utility, and water and sewer industries, has expanded its global presence with the addition of three strategic hires and a new office in Johannesburg, South Africa. Vacuworx Global announced the following appointments:
James F. Pfeiffer was named the vice president of sales, responsible for worldwide sales of Vacuworx products. Pfeiffer has more than 34 years of experience in the heavy equipment industry that includes John Deere, The Charles Machine Works Inc. (Ditch Witch), Blount Inc., Daedong-USA (Kioti Tractor) and most recently, president of American Augers. Pfeiffer brings sales leadership to Vacuworx that will help the company continue to achieve record-breaking growth.
Keith Rhodus joined Vacuworx Global as a district sales manager covering the Southeast U.S. Rhodus is based in Florida and comes to Vacuworx with more than 20 years of experience in the equipment rental industry. Most recently, Rhodus was a national account manager with Volvo Construction Equipment.
Joe van Wyk was named general manager of Vacuworx Africa, responsible for all Vacuworx operations and its affiliates within Africa. Wyk will be based in Johannesburg, South Africa, and comes to Vacuworx from the mining industry. Most recently he was in project management with Worley Parsons, and using his extensive experience, Wyk will help expand Vacuworx efforts in Africa.
