Registration is open for the 2018 Membrane Technology Conference & Exposition hosted by the American Water Works Assn., American Membrane Technology Assn., Water Environment Federation and WateReuse Assn. The conference–scheduled for March 12 to 16 in West Palm Beach, Fla.–will explore research, development and implementation of membrane technologies in water, wastewater, reuse and industrial applications.
Water scarcity will be a highly discussed topic at the conference, providing the opportunity for participants to learn how impaired source waters and advanced water treatment are incorporated into water resource planning efforts. Industry experts will provide insight into how emerging advances in membrane technology can address these applications.
The conference, held at the Palm Beach County Convention Center, will offer more than 100 booths featuring the latest membrane technologies and services. Eleanor Allen, CEO of Water for People, will lead the opening general session with a discussion of her work improving access to safe water and sanitation services in Latin America, Africa and India.
