EC15 in the City of Roses

IECA's Environmental Connection 2015 is in the Portland, Ore., this week as storm water and erosion control industry professionals take advantage of workshops, educational sessions and the show floor.

Budgets, as always, are at the forefront of attendees’ minds, and some have concerns about the future cost of traveling to trade shows, despite the value they get from a show. One way to get the same experience—without having to pay for travel expenses—is through a virtual trade show, hosted entirely online but with the same quality of information and interaction as a physical trade show.

SWS is preparing to host its fourth annual Virtual Expo on April 1, featuring live storm water and erosion control webinars that offer Professional Development Hours and showcase topics like green infrastructure and regulations. Also featured are industry chat rooms that facilitate networking, as well as trade show exhibits with live interaction between attendees and exhibitors—all without having to get on a plane or even leave your office. Registration is free.

Stop by booth #940 at IECA EC15 for more information and copies of the magazine, and I encourage you to register for the Storm Water Solutions Virtual Expo.
