The deadline for nominations for the Storm Water Solutions (SWS) 2019 Top Projects awards program has been extended to Aug. 23.
Last year, projects topics included erosion control, beach pollution, drainage basins, green infrastructure, potable water use, pipe rehabilitation, stream restoration and shoreline stabilization. Projects came from all over the U.S., including Florida, California, Texas, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. All 2018 projects can be viewed here.
Every year, SWS recognizes projects in the storm water and erosion control industries in its annual Top Storm Water & Erosion Control Projects awards. The program recognizes new projects or facilities and highlights innovative upgrades to existing facilities. SWS encourages project leaders to submit entries showcasing projects in the design or construction phase in the past 18 months prior to nomination.
The SWS 2019 Top Projects will be featured in the annual Nov./Dec. SWS issue. All top projects will be awarded at the 2019 SWS Conference & Exhibition in Tinley Park, Ill., Nov. 12 to 14. More information on the SWS Conference can be found here. Nominate an outstanding project here.
