Uretek Holdings, a full-service provider of geotechnical construction and infrastructure rehabilitation services, announced it has officially changed its name to Ground Works Solutions, Inc.

The new name illustrates the company’s commitment to building upon its current products and services as well as expanding its offerings to meet the challenges of an ever-changing marketplace.

“The new logo reflects all aspects of the earth strata that we can strengthen and restore,” said Richard Kelecy, CEO of Ground Works Solutions. “The name change better reflects the fact that we have multiple service offerings for soil and infrastructure repair and rehabilitation.”

“We have continued to diversify our portfolio of services to meet the market needs. Our core competency has been utilizing the URETEK processes to stabilize soil under buildings and around infrastructure. However, we recognized the critical needs of the aging U.S. infrastructure, the necessity of also repairing the inside of the structure and the benefits associated with trenchless solutions,” stated Cory Carlson, Ground Works president of sales.

In 2015, Ground Works partnered with AP/M Permaform for the renewal of the inside of storm and sewer structures using the CentriPipe and Permacast systems. Ground Works also partnered with Inversa Systems for infrastructure assessment and diagnostic imaging technologies. The partnerships provided a turnkey solution for customers and increased return on investment by maximizing the life of storm and sanitary sewer systems.

Ground Works also announced the promotion of Richard Kelecy to CEO, effective April 1, 2016. Kelecy has worked with the company for more than five years as CFO and most recently COO. Kathleen Shanahan will continue as Chairman of Ground Works Solutions, Inc.
