The George Cromwell Elementary School Stormwater Improvements project aimed to design a natural drainage system for stormwater treatment while also protecting the school property.

SWS Managing Editor Katie John is joined by Jeff Ratteree, project manager with the Bureau of Watershed Protection & Restoration, and Keith Pivonski, project manager with Underwood & Associates to dicsuss a 2022 Top Project – the George Cromwell Elementary School Stormwater Improvements. The objectives of this restoration project were to design a natural drainage system for stormwater treatment while also providing adequate drainage and safe conveyance of storm flows, protecting the school property and adjacent public roadways.
