SWS 2020 Top Projects - Carson Stormwater and Runoff Capture Project

SWS 2020 Top Projects - Carson Stormwater and Runoff Capture Project

In this week’s interview, SWS Managing Editor Katie Johns is joined by Julio Gonzalez, sustainability administrator with the city of Carson, California, Jeff Atijera, construction manager with Tetra Tech, and Charlie Carter, territory manager – West region with StormTrap, to discuss another one of our 2020 Top Projects – the Carson Stormwater and Runoff Capture Project.

A large underground system, installed at Carriage Crest Park in Carson, California, is aiding in a storm water management project, which will divert millions of gallons of storm water per year to help Carson and unincorporated parts of Los Angeles protect waterways, meet MS4 requirements and increase water supply to the local wastewater treatment plant.

The videos in this Top Project series will be presented in no particular order, except our final video, which will feature our #2020 Top Project.
