On June 4, the first webinar, titled "MS4 Challenges Posed by Evolving Construction Site Storm Water Requirements," will explore the challenges of implementing ever-evolving state general permit requirements related to erosion, sediment control, and post-construction storm water runoff management. Focus will be on construction and earth disturbing sites in small and large MS4 communities. The talk will focus on real world issues and gray areas identified during revision of existing MS4 regulations, implementation by the development community, and enforcement of compliance with more stringent and complex requirements.
Presentation learning objectives:
- Provide the MS4 perspective of construction site storm water management
- Identify challenges to MS4 communities when rules for construction and post-construction site storm water management change
- Understand the consequences of “black and white” permit requirements in the real world
