Geosynthetic Mat

MacMat R combines double-twist wire mesh technology with geosynthetic MacMat high-performance turf reinforcement mat. The reinforced geomat is made from a three-dimensional matrix of UV-stabilized, non-degradable synthetic fibers that are heat-bonded at the junction and extruded on a high tensile strength hexagonal double-twisted wire mesh. The steel wire used is heavily galvanized and polymer-coated for greater protection. The geomat provides durability and protection from hydraulic and non-hydraulic forces, and is a revegetative surface. The product can be can be used on slopes, along the banks of canals and rivers, or to support drainage.
