Negotiations are nearing completion for Olsson to acquire FTN Associates Ltd. The acquisition will combine FTN’s operations with Olsson’s engineering consulting disciplines.
According to a press release, the acquisition is “anticipated to close April 22, 2024. Upon closing, FTN will become Olsson FTN through January 1, 2025, when it will take on the Olsson name.”
FTN specializes in designing solutions for water, wastewater, natural resources, solid waste and Clean Water Act compliance. Approximately 55 FTN employees will join Olsson.
Olsson is an engineering firm that offers services in planning and design, engineering, field services, technology and environment.
In the press release, Olsson CEO, Brad Strittmatter, said that he was impressed with FTN’s collaborative approach and their technical experience. Strittmatter said that the two company’s services align well with each other, and that the acquisition will better serve their clients.
Paul Crawford, president of FTN, stated that the acquisition will allow FTN to continue providing services to their clients while expanding what they can offer by joining Olsson.
The two companies share space in the Arkansas market. FTN has employees in Little Rock, Fayetteville, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Creve Coeur Missouri.
