The HP Storm is a high-performance polypropylene pipe ideal for gravity-flow storm drain applications.

HP Storm is a high-performance polypropylene pipe manufactured by Advanced Drainage Systems Inc. (ADS) for gravity-flow storm drain applications. Available in diameters from 12 inches to 60 inches (300–1500 mm) HP Storm is an ideal choice when premium joint performance and/or greater pipe stiffness is required.

HP Storm offers significant pipe stiffness, which increases safety and service life in installations that demand high performance. HP Storm couples advanced polypropylene resin technology with a proven, dual-wall profile design for superior performance and durability. The smooth interior wall offers additional strength as well as superior flow with a Manning’s value of 0.012.

HP Storm pipe has an extended bell design that adds an additional factor of safety within each joint to ensure watertight performance and long-term design service life.

Standard and custom fittings are available for HP Storm, which is available in 20-foot (6 m) lengths to aid in speed of installation and reduce the number of joints.

HP Storm meets or exceeds typical standards for pipe stiffness and joint integrity and meets ASTM F2881 and AASHTO M330 for the respective diameters. HP Storm pipe is approved for use by the Army Corps of Engineers, Federal Aviation Authority (FAA), and American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA). SW
